Technical Center
Arkwright operates a state-of-the-art R&D center, staffed with over twenty highly qualified chemists and process engineers. Statistical design techniques are used throughout the development process and Quality Assurance laboratories are located at each manufacturing facility. Arkwright also maintains comprehensive benchmarking facilities and analytical laboratories.

Coating Technologies
Arkwright has eight coating lines utilizing a variety of coating technologies including flexo, gravure, reverse roll, rod, and slot die. Many of Arkwright’s coating lines have multiple coating heads along with the ability to coat solvent or aqueous coatings. Arkwright has a highly capable pilot coating line well suited for initial development work.

Confidentiality
Arkwright operates under strict confidentiality. Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements are required on most custom projects. Exclusive or restricted specifications will be considered in the form of a supply agreement.

PROJECT INITIATION

Successful ventures begin with a plan. Arkwright has a clearly defined design control process that ensures the initial and continued viability of each project. This system helps both Arkwright and its customers to make rational decisions at each point of the design process. If an initial assessment of an opportunity indicates that the project is a good fit for both Arkwright and it’s customer, the project will enter Arkwright’s formal design control process detailed in the attached PDF file. Arkwright’s design control process has the flexibility to be as simple or intricate as your project necessitates.
